A very festive Christmas Fayre in the middle of Steyning High Street, with late night shopping and a bunch of stalls.
As expected, it was very Christmassy!
The Adur Brewery had a stall on the high street selling bottles of their very fine beers. Drinking beer on the street in Steyning may be considered uncouth, so we dropped into the Chequers for a drink instead!
We had savoury crepes from the crepe van, which were excellent, if a little on the pricey side. We also stopped at the fish & chip shop, which only seems to be open for special occasions, like this. To accompany the chips, I opted for a picked egg; every now and again I forget how horrible they are - this didn't disappoint in that respect!
